Verification of Expected Death
Would you be able to verify expected death quickly and efficiently within your Home? Do you have enough nurses with this skill? Are you able to do this out of hours to aid the grieving process of the families involved?
This course is designed to give you the skills and confidence to be able to recognise the fact of death and record it appropriately in line with your company policy.
Who should attend?
Registered healthcare professionals who are working in an environment, with a suitable policy to support them, in the recognition of life extinct.

The skills required to verify death:
- Legal aspects of verifying death
- Clinical skills to verify death
- Documentation required in verification of death.
Up to 12 people. For group bookings, a minimum 4 people and a maximum of 12.
Location & Booking
We have a series of planned courses across the South West or this course can be held at a location of your choice. However, we would just request a quiet space for training. Alternatively we are happy to host in one of our locations.
