Basic Clinical Observations Training
This course will update your theory skills and provide you with the opportunity to practice those skills before carrying them out in a work environment. Following the theory there will be practical sessions designed to offer all participants the chance to put their skills into practice in a controlled environment.
Who should attend?
Healthcare Providers who may need to carry out clinical observations, or for those who wish to update their knowledge.
What will you learn?
After successful completion of the training you will understand how to carry out the following:
- Infection control
- Blood pressure monitoring and pulse taking
- Taking and recording of temperature
- Oxygen saturation and peak flow monitoring
- Blood glucose monitoring
- Measuring and recording BMI.
Up to 12 people.
For group bookings, a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 12.

We have a series of planned courses across the South West or this course can be held at a location of your choice. However, we would request a quiet space for training. Alternatively we are happy to host in one of our locations.
