Understanding your Community Defibrillator
Do you want to provide members of your community with a basic understanding of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) device? This course is tailored to the specific AED that you would use in your community.
Who should attend?
This course is open to anyone who would like to learn to use an AED.
What will you learn?
You will learn how to use an AED. The course has been specifically designed for anyone living or working within a community, to familiarise yourself with basic life support and using your AED.
- CPR (adult)
- Getting to know your AED (any type)
- Safe operation of the AED
1 and a half hours.
Minimum of 12 and up to 25 people.
Location, Booking & Dates
This course can be held at a location of your choice (usually at the location of the AED). However, we would request a quiet space for training. Alternatively, we are happy to host the course in one of our locations. When you purchase one of our AED courses we offer post event support within the first year of completing your course. So if you use your AED, we will come and support you and discuss any questions that you may have.
£475 per course.

Purchase an AED device
With our Understanding your Community Defibrillator course you have the opportunity to purchase an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at a special discounted price. Please follow the link for more information. When you purchase an AED from us we offer a free set up of the AED and should you use it within the first year of completing your course, we will replace the pads free of charge.
