First Aid at Work
If an emergency happens in the workplace, where someone suddenly becomes ill or is injured, it is essential that those appointed have the skills and confidence to carry out first aid.
Our First Aid at Work course will equip your first aiders with the practical skills and knowledge to confidently provide first aid in any workplace emergency. The course complies with the current Health and Safety First Aid Regulations.
Who should attend?
This course is open to anyone who is over the age of 16.
What will you learn?
- Situation assessment
- Administer first aid to an unconscious casualty
- CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
- Wounds and bleeding
- Injuries to bones, muscles and joints, including spinal injuries
- Chest injuries
- Burns and scalds
- Anaphylactic shock
- Recognise the presence of major illness and provide appropriate first aid.
3 days (18 hours with the trainer in total). All sessions must be attended.
Up to 12 people.
For group bookings, a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 12.
