Emergency First Aid at Work
Our Emergency First Aid at Work training is perfect for those who may need to provide first aid in the workplace. The course will give you the skills and confidence to treat someone who becomes injured or ill at work. Our course meets the HSE’s regulatory requirements for an appointed person.
Who should attend?
This course is suitable if you have assessed your first aid needs and your minimum requirement is to appoint a person to take charge in an emergency situation.
What will you learn?
On completion of training, successful participants will be able to understand the role of the first aider including preventing cross infection, recording incidents and actions and the use of available equipment. This course covers:
- Situation assessment
- Administer first aid to an unconscious casualty (including seizures)
- CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
- Wounds and bleeding
- Minor injuries.
1 day (6 hours with the trainer in total).
Up to 12 people.
For group bookings, a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 12 people.

We have a series of planned courses across the South West or this course can be held at a location of your choice, we would just request a quiet space for training.
