  • AEDs save lives, but what is an AED and how do you use it?

From our experience as first aid trainers we have seen that the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) saves lives. Learn how you can use an AED to help a patient, whether that is a loved one, colleague or stranger in need of resuscitation.

  • Quality Assurance In First Aid - What's The Point?

Quality assurance is the process in which the quality of a product being delivered is examined to ensure it meets the required standard, for example; Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work qualification.

  • How good are your first aid skills?

For a patient that becomes ill or injured and requires non-emergency medical attention, first aid training is the best outcome for them, the ambulance service, who must deal with life threatening emergencies first and for the person that is with them, so that they have the skills and confidence to administer first aid.
